Taylor Francis was trained personally by Al Gore to learn to present the slideshow featured in “An Inconvenient Truth” about the climate crisis. At 14, the high school freshman was the youngest trained out of more than thousands of applicants (the vast majority of whom were adults).

He is now educating audiences about the realities of global warming and spreading his inspiring message of hope and action. Previously, Francis wrote about genocide in Darfur and interviewed San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Justice Sandra Day O’Connor for the school magazine he founded.
